HISTORY

Bob Fenochetti has been involved in the antiques business since the early 1970's when he was still a teenager. In 1975, after graduating high school, the antiques business became his passion.

Bob's involvement in the business has varied throughout his 25 plus years: savvy door-knocker, picker and auctioneer.

History Highlights:

- Bob worked his first flea market as a teenager

- Built a customer base by setting up at Brimfield, MA shows for over 20 years

- Attended and graduated from Douglas Auctioneering School, Greenfield, MA

- Learned the auction business working for Auctioneers in Southern Maine

- Developed an interest in antique wicker furniture and began buying, selling and collecting

- Expanded to buying, selling and collecting wood Victorian furniture in addition to the wicker

- Continues to run estate, on-site, and charitable auctions, ¨ Performs personal property appraisals working closely with Estate Attorneys and Realtors

- Rented warehouse space in Westford, MA to allow for volume buying and shipping to dealers

- Bob's wife, Anne, joined the business and they went on-line, setting up a website. In addition to emailing pictures and descriptions to current and prospective clients

- In December of 2000 they moved their home and antique business to Dunstable, MA and opened up their barn to the antique loving public

Today we scour the roads of New England for merchandise that is of quality and of a realistic price. Bob enjoys the visitors to the barn and sharing his knowledge and adventures.
